David Robertson (RHP, NYY) and Tommy Kahnle (RHP, NYY) are gone, and behind them may lie a very fluid closer situation. Nate Jones (RHP, CHW) had season-ending surgery July 11 and Zack Burdi (RHP, CHW) may also go under the knife.  Anthony Swarzak (RHP, CHW) could also be dealt by July 31, thanks to his 2017 ERA rebound.

A free agent after this season, Tyler Clippard (RHP, CHW) could get showcased for a move to another team. He leaves Yankee Stadium (+46% LHB HR, +25% RHB HR) with 2017 home splits of a 9.00 ERA, 6.6 Ctl and 2.4 hr/9 in 15 IP and heads to a relatively less hitter-friendly Guaranteed Rate Field (+13% LHB HR, +7% RHB HR).
