Manager Ned Yost surprised some at the end of 2015 spring training, naming Paulo Orlando (OF, KC) the 5th OF on his spring .319 BA and speed. Jared Dyson (OF, KC) wil be out for a few weeks to begin 2016, so the door is open for Yost to do it again by choosing a minor leaguer with a solid spring over one of the veterans in camp for KC's April 3rd roster.

A career .223 BA batter with a 66% ct% over 1451 minor league AB, he started getting some traction in spring training 2015 by hitting .500 with just 6 K in 32 AB.
