The Indians bought time for Danny Salazar (RHP, CLE) by placing him on the 10-day DL June 6. It's possible he may not be a starter when he returns, as his problems extend back to 2016 with a 7.44 ERA between the All Star break and the end of the season. Triple-A Columbus rotation members not named Clevinger have struggled out of the gate in 2017. Even newcomer Julian Merryweather (RHP, CLE), who got a BaseballHQ.com review in the May 11 PT Tomorrow, had to overcome three HR in his second game with the Clippers to post a 2.57 ERA after two starts.
