PT TOMORROW: AL Central—Injuries, trades, call-ups shuffle playing time

Zach Walters (SS, CLE) and Tyler Holt (OF, CLE) were called up when both David Murphy (OF, CLE) and Nick Swisher (OF/1B, CLE) went on the DL. Both Murphy and Swisher are expected to be on the DL for longer than the minimum time. Walters could an interesting speculative add for fantasy owners. Walters slashed .310/.361/.619 with 17 HR at Triple-A. He also had three HR in an earlier call-up with the Washington Nationals. The Indians started Walters in the outfield on Sunday, and he has experience at 3B and 2B, as well as SS. If the Indians give him regular playing time he could be a source of late-season power with multiple position eligibility. Holt is less likely to get regular playing time, but if he does, he could...
