Joe Mauer (1B, MIN, pictured above) made news by saying in a February 12 interview with twincities.com that he suffered the effects of his 2013 concussions through the 2015 season. In 2013 he had 89 K and 61 BB in 445 total ABs, while between 2014 and 2015 he struck out 115 times and walked 72 times in 418 daytime ABs. Mauer is on a neck and eye exercise regimen that's showing good results, but if the exercises and sunglasses don't work, he could start losing playing time to Byung Ho Park (1B, MIN).

The current BaseballHQ.com projections for Park (.247 BA, 22 HR in 496 AB) may seem pessimistic given his 2015 .393 BA and 53 HR (528 AB) in the Korea Baseball Organization (KBO), but we may have a recent example in Jung-ho...
