While Playing Time Today has covered the recent overhaul given to the left side of the Cleveland infield, the changes may not end there.

General manager Chris Antonetti told a local beat reporter that he hoped that top prospect Francisco Lindor (SS, CLE), whose bat has come alive at AAA-Columbus, would be up in the big leagues in the “near future.” Despite dealing with a minor injury, Lindor had hit safely in eight of his last nine games through June 9 (14-for-36) to raise his season slash line to .272/.343/.392.

Lindor’s success rate on the basepaths (8-for-15) leaves something to be desired, but he has posted a solid 83% contact rate and 0.69 Eye. Despite manager Terry Francona’s recent assertion about Lindor not...
