How far away is Clay Buchholz (RHP, BOS) from being designated for assignment?

Also, Joe Kelly (RHP, BOS) — earmarked for a role as a multi-inning reliever — appears to be nearing a return, having struck out the side in the ninth inning of a scoreless, two-inning appearance for AAA-Pawtucket July 15.

Junichi Tazawa (RHP, BOS) will also reportedly be activated today, the first day he is eligible,...
