Now that Desmond Jennings (OF, TAM) is back on the shelf—perhaps for the remainder of the season—it appears that the Rays corner-outfield spots will each more or less be platoons, at least until one of the lefties hits his way out of playing time.

Since Jennings last played August 25, Grady Sizemore (OF, TAM) and Daniel Nava (OF, TAM) have gotten the call in left and right field, respectively against RHP, while recent recall Joey Butler (OF, TAM) and Brandon Guyer (OF, TAM) have played against the lone southpaw that the Rays have faced.
