Though it would no doubt drive at least some segment of the team’s fan base insane, Boston could once again ride the fence at the trade deadline, doing a little buying and a little selling. 

Among the players teams are reportedly sniffing around are deadline-deal frequent flyer Adam Duvall (OF, BOS) and Enrique Hernández (SS, BOS), in what may be an either-or scenario. In other words, were Duvall to be moved along, Hernández might be kept around as a right-handed-hitting fourth outfielder, whereas were Hernández to be moved, the team might be a bit more reluctant to deal Duvall.
