In a story that is bigger than baseball (and fantasy baseball), Trey Mancini (OF, BAL) announced in an article on the Players Tribune that he is in the midst of a six-month regimen of chemotherapy to treat Stage III colon cancer.

“If baseball returns in 2020, it will probably be without me,” Mancini wrote.

Based on that statement, we have zeroed out Mancini’s playing time for 2020 and reallocated it across the Orioles roster.

Given the current thinking both that the MLB season will feature expanded rosters, at least in the early going, and that there may not be a minor league season, much of Mancini’s playing time has been handed over to Ryan Mountcastle (1B, BAL), who was already considered on the cusp of making his...
