The hot topic in Tampa Bay remains how to sort out the good problem that the hot hitting of Michael Brosseau (3B, TAM) and Nate Lowe (1B, TAM) have created for the Rays as their players get healthy.

Since last week’s commentary on the situation, Lowe was named American League Player of the Week, while Brosseau launched three home runs in a two-game span July 13-14. 

Nonetheless, the Rays are reportedly intent on activating Matt Duffy (3B, TAM) as early as today. Duffy went 8-for-24 (.333) in six games with AAA-Durham, with six of the hits coming in his final two games July 17 and 18. 

The natural companion move may be to demote Joey Wendle (2B, TAM), who has a remaining minor league option and continues to struggle after...
