Tampa Bay Times beat writer Marc Topkin suggests the next position that may see a changing of the guard is shortstop, with Willy Adames (SS, TAM) given the keys to the position. Topkin wrote that Adames should be called up “very soon,” which is interesting given that Adeiny Hechavarría (SS, TAM) is on the comeback trail from a hamstring injury, perhaps to start a rehabilitation assignment shortly.
