PT TOMORROW: AL East—Could BAL’s Rodriguez be entering Gray area?

For much of the offseason, many have assumed that elite prospect Grayson Rodriguez (RHP, BAL) would be part of the Baltimore rotation from the start of the 2023 season.

That might still be the plan, but Rodriguez has injected at least a little bit of uncertainty into the equation by struggling during his second time through the lineup in each of his last two spring starts.

Through 11.1 IP in the spring, Rodriguez has now given up 7 ER on 13 hits and 7 walks with 14 strikeouts.
