Manager John Gibbons has used José Bautista (OF, TOR) at third base with Josh Donaldson (3B, TOR) shifting over to shortstop. In addition to having some interesting implications for both players’ positional flexibility for this season and next, the willingness to move the veterans around the diamond also opens some at-bats in the outfield, possibly paving the way for the Blue Jays to have one of the more impactful September call-ups, at least from a playing time perspective. The only question may be: Which one?
