We detailed the surging rotation and SP depth here space last week, and nothing has changed in the interim. Throw in the AL's best bullpen and the Mariners have an MLB-leading 2.94 ERA—1.89 in August. SEA SPs continue to pitch well whether they are with the Mariners or in AAA-Tacoma, where both Taijuan Walker (RHP, SEA and Erasmo Ramírez (RHP, SEA) again dominated in their most recent starts. With an expanded September roster, the Mariners could well have an embarrassment of pitching riches that allows them to reduce everyone's IP—notably that of ace Félix Hernández—depending on the stakes and the situations.
