The additions of Teoscar Hernández and Kolten Wong improve a postseason club that finished 18th in MLB scoring, but this remains a contender built around a fine rotation and elite bullpen. And along with continued offensive depth questions, the organization has enough pitching talent to anticipate more player movement this season.
There's been no talk of a six-man rotation, which leaves the #5 rotation spot a battle between lefty Marco Gonzales and Chris Flexen, both legitimate backend SPs who have figured prominently in the SEA rotation in recent seasons.
