PT TOMORROW: AL West—On your marks...

Seattle Mariners

Dan Vogelbach's (1B/DH, SEA) consciously new air-it-out plate effort has produced outstanding spring numbers (20-for-50, 6 HR, 13/10 BB/K) and now a Opening Day roster spot—all of which have our attention. Unfortunately, SEA had seemingly moved on without Vogelbach when they traded for corner infielder Ryon Healy (1B/3B/DH, SEA) this off-season. And while Healy's February surgery for the removal of a bone spur from his hand cracked open a pre-season AB door for Vogelbach, he's now beaten even the most optimistic return estimates, was 4-for-14 in Cactus League play, and is also in-line to be part of the Opening Day roster.

Nelson Cruz (DH, SEA) could theoretically cover SEA's problematic LF spot to create lineup room...
