Fantasy owners needing to speculate on OF help and trying to get a jump on their league-mates should consider rostering Jake Meyers (OF, HOU). Now nearing the end of a lengthy rehab for a torn labrum left (throwing) shoulder, Meyer is finally seeing extended spring training game action at the club's Florida complex, suggesting that a minor league rehab stint is imminent. His stay in the minors could last a few weeks, but there are multiple reasons to believe that Meyers will get a shot at taking over the HOU CF job at some point in June.

Meyers enjoyed a breakout 2021 at Triple-A, posting a .343/.408/.598 line (16 HR, 25/59 BB/K, 10/3 SB/CS) over 304 PA before making his HOU debut in early August. Meyers' power finally...
