Two weeks into the season, the ninth inning looks as muddled as ever. After reeling off seven saves and posting a 25/3 K/BB over his final 21 IP in 2017, Blake Parker (RHP, LAA) entered 2018 as the pre-season favorite. But following an atrocious spring (11 runs allowed in 7 2/3 IP), Parker has coughed up 4 runs over his first 6 2/3 IP—and though he owns one of LAA's two saves, has also appeared in late-inning mop-up roles in an ongoing effort to rediscover last year's command.

Similarly, one-time closer-of-the-future Cam Bedrosian (RHP, LAA) continues to look nothing like he did at the beginning of 2017, when he seemed poised to hold onto the closer role for years to come. Bedrosian made his first post-7th-inning...
