HOU's 2016 offensive woes with a right-handed-leaning lineup fueled an active offseason that is now blocking a couple of left-handed-hitters having great springs. Despite being the Astros' #1 prospect entering 2016, A.J. Reed (1B, HOU) 2016 looked overmatched in his MLB debut, posting a .164/.158 BA/xBA (79% HctX) with just 3 HR in 122 AB—during which a glaring 61% ct% and 49% GB% stood out. Reed is killing it early this spring, going 9-for-27 with a 4/7 BB/K and 4 HR through Monday, but he's now behind Yulieski Gurriel in the 1B pecking order. Barring an injury or another HOU move, the 23-year-old Reed is ticketed for AAA-Fresno where he'll try to build momentum in advance of his next opportunity. If he performs, don't...
