Left behind in Triple-A after a rash of MLB promotions, Jon Singleton (1B, HOU) suddenly looks like a forgotten man, and perhaps even a trade chip. After spending several seasons as HOU's top prospect, Singleton's suspension for marijuana use and an inauspicious MLB debut in 2014—57% ct%, .168 BA over 310 ABs—left a question mark on his immediate future. And the poor spring that followed, the Astros' offseason acquisition of Evan Gattis, and the May emergence of Preston Tucker have kept Singleton in Triple-A through early June, with no change seemingly in sight.
