With 10 consecutive game-dates beginning on April 4, the mounting rotation problems have become critical in Oakland. Jesse Hahn's (RHP, OAK) miserable spring (19 runs allowed, 11/7 K/BB over 15 IP) resulted in his demotion to Triple-A as spring training ended. But his replacement, Felix Doubront (LHP, OAK) left last Saturday's start with elbow tightness, and subsequently landed on DL with an elbow sprain. Thus, the pressure is mounting for Hahn's return.
