As speculated in this space back at the beginning of July, TEX has indeed traded Joaquin Soria and is auditioning Neftali Felix (RHP, TEX) again at closer. The writing appeared to be on the wall when Feliz was inserted into AAA-Round Rock's 9th inning role in early June and responded with 7 saves, a 13/3 K/BB and a 2.07 ERA over 13 IP, amid reports of improving velocity. For those with short memories, Feliz saved 72 games over 2010-11, before several rotation stints and Tommy John surgery (TJS) in late 2012 ended his career as a starter.
