There was one immediate certainty about a lineup in which Nori Aoki and MLB-ready minor leaguer Teoscar Hernández—dealt to TOR in return for Francisco Liriano—would no be longer factors. Derek Fisher (OF, HOU) is the big playing time winner both in Aoki's old LF spot and spotting throughout the outfield when needed. With George Springer on the DL until at least August 4 with what has been reported to date as a mild quadriceps strain and Marwin Gonzalez's primary role shifting to the infield with Carlos Correa out until early/mid-September, Fisher is effectively the most everyday OF along with Josh Reddick.
