As per our last pre-lockdown piece, few Opening Day positions were set in stone on a postseason contender looking to improve its offense. And now just days after the trading window reopened, GM Jerry Dipoto has acquired a starting LF and 3B in Jesse Winker and Eugenio Suárez—with the early ripple effects covered in our Playing Time Today space by Rod Truesdell. The Opening Day lineup suddenly looks pretty settled with the exception of the DH spot, for good reason.
