PT TOMORROW — AL East: BOS still dancin’ with Jansen…but for how long?

Red Sox closer Kenley Jansen (RHP, BOS) took losses in back-to-back games May 12 and 13, the second loss at least partially attributable to the notoriously slow-working Jansen actually violating the league’s new “quick pitch” rules.

The experience left Jansen’s ERA at 4.26 and WHIP at 1.66, though the Red Sox will almost certainly allow their $32-million-dollar man to try to work through his struggles.

Nonetheless, the pecking order in the Boston bullpen is worth examining. Among players still on the roster, the only other pitcher with a save this season is Josh Winckowski (RHP, BOS), though he, too, was part of the May 12 meltdown that cost James Paxton (LHP, BOS) a win in his return to the mound.
