In the topsy-turvy world we're living in presently, Eric Hosmer (1B, SD) is following suit by defying gravity, literally. He's yet to hit a ball on the ground in his first 10 AB (89% FB%) and is barreling up balls left and right. He's been the talk of Twitter and a top 5 Statcast leader (!) in this young season. That said, he's been a scratched three times already for some mystery illness related to his stomach. If Hosmer ends up with an extended absence because of it, who steps in for the surprising NL West leaders?
