After a year of rumors, the Cardinals finally traded Tyler O’Neill (OF, BOS). That may not fix their problems with a crowded lineup, however, as there would likely need to be one more subtraction from their current roster to provide true clarity for player roles.  Outfield remains the primary focus. Lars Nootbaar (OF, STL) and Jordan Walker (OF, STL) figure to have two of three spots locked in. That leaves a combination Tommy Edman (2B/SS/OF, STL), Alec Burleson (OF, STL), and Brendan Donovan (2B/OF, STL) for one outfield spot as well as second base.
