Fantasy GMs would be wise to moderate their enthusiasm here, as his grasp on a rotation spot could be weaker than post-game quotes would indicate.

His average fastball velocity is down one mph from last April, indicating decline in velocity (and overall effectiveness) he experienced over the course of 2017 could well be permanent.
