All eyes are on Jordan Walker (3B, STL) and his push for the Opening Day roster, but Nolan Gorman (2B, STL) has also reportedly impressed the Cardinals this spring (Katie Woo of The Athletic has reported this among others). Among the adjustments he’s made include altering his swing to better reach the high fastball as well as showing improved defense at second base-–an important consideration given the rules restricting the shift. One reality check on the hype is that Gorman has still struck out 10 times in 30 plate appearances (through Sunday).

While the World Baseball Classic may not be a great source of fantasy information, another interesting development for Gorman is that he has replaced Nolan Arenado (3B, STL)...
