Jon Jay (OF, STL) has a chance to return from the disabled list when first eligible, May 25, but it's far from guaranteed that he's going to reclaim the near-every-day at-bats he was seeing previously. He's put up a disappointing .248/.330/.267 line through his first 115 plate appearances, with just two extra base hits, both doubles.

Meanwhile, Randal Grichuk (OF, STL), who had been on the disabled list with a back strain, has started five of six games since his activation. Three of those starts have come in center field, where he's made a few impressive plays, while going 7 for 24 with a homer at the plate during that time.
