PT TOMORROW: NL Central: Iglesias states his case for rotation spot

Raisel Iglesias (RHP, CIN) improved his chances of eventually earning a rotation spot by pitching a gem May 13. He took a no-hitter into the sixth inning, and in all, allowed just one run on two hits in eight innings, while recording five strikeouts. It was a bit surprising, as he hadn't been overly dominant in four starts at the Triple-A level, with an 11:7 K:BB ratio, and three home runs allowed.

Due to a couple of upcoming off days, the team won't need a fifth starter until May 26, but Iglesias will remain with the team for now, and pitch out of the bullpen. Michael Lorenzen (RHP, CIN), who has a 2.81 ERA, but an uninspiring 4.97 xERA and 1.4 Cmd in three starts, will join him there. Manager Bryan Price indicated that...
