Heading into the 2014 season, it appeared as though Peter Bourjos (OF, STL), acquired in an offseason trade with the Angels, would serve as the team's primary center fielder. But he got off to an ice cold start, and Jon Jay (OF, STL) got the majority of the work out there the rest of the way. There were days that both were in the lineup, as Jay started 18 games in the outfield corners. That isn't likely to happen very often this year, however, with Matt Holliday (OF, STL) still around, and Jason Heyward (OF, STL) now manning right field.

So Bourjos and Jay will battle it out once again, with Jay beginning this spring as the favorite. He missed the spring opener, and is currently just a little behind schedule after...
