PT TOMORROW: NL Central- Is thumb still bothering McCutchen?

Pittsburgh Pirates

Andrew McCutchen (OF, PIT) says he's over the thumb injury that was bothering him a few weeks ago, but you wouldn't know it by his recent performance. Entering the June 16 contest against the Mets, he was just 7 for 50 with one extra base hit (a double) and 18 strikeouts in June. If the thumb is indeed still bothering him and he eventually needs some time off, where would the team turn?

Starling Marte (OF, PIT) appeared in 18 games in center field in 2015, and has already played there seven times this season. Gregory Polanco (OF, PIT) has plenty of experience there from his time in the minors, and would be an option as well. Moving either Marte or Polanco to center field would obviously open up an outfield corner, and...

Almost!
