Jonathan India’s (2B, CIN) stock was skyrocketing throughout spring training and into early regular season action. However, things came crashing down just as quickly, as it became apparent he was overmatched at the plate (70 ct%, 58 HctX, 66xPX, -4BPV). Even before a brief stint on the injured list, India’s playing time was in jeopardy, which was also confirmed by Nick Senzel’s (OF, CIN) presence in the lineup Sunday at second base even once India was activated from the injured list.

As of writing, it remains unclear whether Senzel’s shift from the outfield to back to the infield, his original position coming through the organization, will extend into the future. However, there are reasons beyond just India's bat to send...
