PT TOMORROW: NL Central—Kang nearing return

Pittsburgh Pirates

Jung-ho Kang (3B, PIT) is currently rehabbing in Indianapolis, and while it doesn't look like he'll be returning when he's eligible on September 4, owners shouldn't have to wait much longer. He went through about a two-month slump, but had come out of it, and was 7 for 18 with three home runs in his last six games before suffering a shoulder strain. Kang should get the majority of starts at third base upon his return, which will cut into the playing time of the slumping David Freese (3B, PIT), who is five for his last 33, with 16 strikeouts in that span.

Tyler Glasnow (RHP, PIT) is expected to make one more rehab start with Indianapolis before their season ends, at which point he'll likely be promoted to Pittsburgh....

Almost!
