PT TOMORROW: NL Central—Power arms at back of Cubs' bullpen

Chicago Cubs

Héctor Rondón (RHP, CHC) appears to have a firm grasp on the closer role, having nailed down 29 saves in 2014. He showed some encouraging signs last year, as his velocity jumped by 2 mph, and increased in each of the final three months (96.9 in Sept). At the same time, he also improved his Ctl, including an elite 0.8 mark in the second half, and he induced more grounders. With all that said, Rondon doesn't have a track record as a closer, and his skills were a mess as a rookie in 2013, so he's no sure thing, and may not have the longest of leashes if things go wrong.
