The Cardinals rotation that broke camp in late March has been durable so far this season. The Cards are one of five teams to use only five different starting pitchers. This comes as somewhat of a surprise, since Michael Wacha (RHP, STL) has a history of shoulder issues and Lance Lynn (RHP, STL) is in his first season back from Tommy John Surgery.

When the need for rotation depth does arise, the Cardinals have an excellent option ready in the high minors in Luke Weaver (RHP, STL). Weaver missed nearly a month with a back injury after his first start of the season for AAA-Memphis, but he has dominated with 18 K, 1 BB, and 1 ER over 20 IP in his first three starts back.
