PT TOMORROW: NL Central—Urías's future in MIL

Milwaukee Brewers

Just over one month ago, the Brewers dealt away Orlando Arcia (SS, ARL), in what appeared to be a clear vote of confidence for Luis Urías (2B/SS/3B, MIL). In a sudden turn of events, the team acquired Willy Adames (SS, MIL) late last week, raising both short and long-term questions regarding Urías’s future in Milwaukee. In the short-term, that answer appears fairly clear, as Urías has been in the lineup only once since the acquisition (through Sunday), and his inclusion in Saturday’s lineup was solely to give Kolten Wong (2B, MIL) a day off at second base. On the other hand, the future remains a more complicated story. Urías is still only 23 years old and has experience playing all over the infield.
