The starting rotation has been quite a mess recently, particularly Mike Leake (RHP, STL), Jaime García (LHP, STL) and Adam Wainwright (RHP, STL) who have combined for a 6.51 ERA in 94 innings over the past five weeks. All should be expected to turn things around at some point, but with the team in the thick of a Wild-Card race, there's not much time to wait around for it to happen. If management feels a change is necessary, there are a couple of logical options who could soon step in.
