Tyrone Taylor (OF, MIL) managed to make his season debut early last week after recovering from an elbow injury he suffered during spring training. Since, he’s started in right field for all but one of six games, so his role seems secure in the short-term. Even with Garrett Mitchell (OF, MIL) out for the season, his return has the potential to muddy playing time at two other positions.

The first is at the hot corner. This was covered briefly in last week’s edition of the column, but with Brian Anderson (3B/OF, MIL) limited to playing exclusively at third base, Mike Brosseau (3B, MIL) could completely lose his role. We saw this in effect Friday night when Brosseau sat for the first time this season against a lefty....
