PT TOMORROW: NL Central—Wong nearing return

Kolten Wong (2B, STL) began his rehab assignment with Triple-A Memphis July 1, and looks like a good bet to return July 6, when first eligible. It's been an up-and-down season for Wong to this point, as a .225/.276/.268 line across his first 76 plate appearances resulted in a demotion. Upon his recall a few weeks later, he started 16 for 42, but then went 4 for his next 45 before landing on the DL with a shoulder injury. He will see most of the starts at second base once he's back, but he'll need to improve upon his current .586 OPS to maintain the upper hand.
