Although Kyle Wright (RHP, ATL) is expected to be ready for the start of the season, let's speculate on who could fill in if Wright isn't ready. The most notable names involve Mike Soroka, who unfortunately reported hamstring tightness in February. Don't count out Soroka, since he made rehab starts to close 2022, though another injury in the elbow caused him to sit out the remainder of the season. It's reasonable to expect a slight step down from the elite ratios and $25 R$ in 2019. 

 

Bryce Elder (RHP) flashed streaming pitcher value with a 3.17 ERA and 1.24 WHIP through 54 innings as a rookie in 2022, though luck factors hint at ratio regression. Kolby Allard (LHP), a former first-round pick for the Braves in 2015,...
