When the Braves lost closer Arodys Vizcaíno (RHP, ATL) for the rest of the season to a shoulder injury, many assumed A.J. Minter (LHP, ATL) would take over the role and run with it. Since the injury, though, Minter has recorded only two saves, and none since a particularly rough outing on April 27, in which he retired only two of six batters and gave up 4 ER while taking the loss. Meanwhile, Luke Jackson (RHP, ATL) has earned two of the team’s last three saves. What can we expect from these two relievers moving forward, and are there any other candidates for saves that could emerge out of Atlanta’s pen?
