Touki Toussaint (RHP, ATL) and Kolby Allard (LHP, ATL) have both debuted in August, as the Braves continue to patch together their rotation. All told, the club used seven different starters during the initial 13 days of August, which shows their need to find a reliable arm at the back end of their rotation. Although the debut of Toussaint was correctly labeled as a spot start, he remains someone for owners to stash in deep-mixed leagues. Assuming that Atlanta does not land an impact starter on the August trade market (which is tough to do), they will need a spark from their top prospects down the stretch.
