The drama surrounding third base in Queens lately has been reminiscent of a Colombian telenovela, featuring hot young studs, injuries, plot twists, and even one character seemingly coming back from the dead. To recap: Eduardo Escobar (2B/3B, NYM) began the year as the starter at the position, struggled mightily and lost playing time to Luis Guillorme (2B/3B, NYM), who in turn strained his groin mid-August.
