PT TOMORROW: NL East—Flores staking claim to 3B job

With José Reyes (SS/3B, NYM) still mired in a deep slump, Wilmer Flores (1B/2B/SS/3B, NYM) appears to be staking his claim to the third base job. Flores has started each of the past five games at third base while Reyes has been limited to one spot start at shortstop in place of Asdrúbal Cabrera (SS, NYM) over that span.

Reyes has had a dreadful campaign, slashing .191/.264/.309 with 3 HR and 6 SB in 188 AB. An unfortunate 21% h% has no doubt been a factor, but his .251 xBA is also less than impressive.
