PT TOMORROW: NL East—Injuries hit PHI starting rotation

Cliff Lee (LHP, PHI) entered spring training with questions about a tear in the common flexor tendon in left elbow. After experiencing more discomfort in the elbow earlier this month, there is even more uncertainty. An MRI and visit to Dr. Andrews confirmed the original diagnosis. At this point, Lee will try defy the odds and avoid having surgery.  However, if he does go under the knife to repair the problem, it would sideline him for 6-8 months, wiping out the 2015 season. Lee was officially placed on the 60-day disabled list on March 16. Don't be surprised if the 36-year-old misses the entire 2015 season.
