One of the biggest question marks facing Washington halfway through spring training games is whether second baseman Daniel Murphy and leftfielder Adam Eaton will be ready by Opening Day. Neither has made it to a box score yet, and Murphy is just getting around to taking some batting practice. Even if one or both is ready, there is a likelihood that they will need extra time off, at least early in the season. Few teams are better situated to withstand these possible absences than the Nationals.
