Bryson Stott (SS, PHI) was demoted to Triple-A Lehigh Valley on April 25, to the surprise of no one except maybe his own mother (j/k, even his mom agreed her baby was overmatched). The 24-year-old rookie was batting .133/.161/.167 with 1 R, 0 HR, 3 RBI in 30 AB. Given his demonstrated MiLB talent (.298/.390/.488, 13.1% BB%, 21.6% K%, 145 wRC+ in 584 AB), odds are good that we’ll see him back in South Philly before too long. For now, his departure means more PT for a few Phils at different positions.
